Eve Morey expecting first child

'Neighbours' star Eve Morey has confirmed that she and her fiance are expecting their first child.

The 31-year-old actress has been playing Sonya Rebecchi on the Australian soap since 2009, reported Digital Spy.

Morey said that she was delighted about the news, calling it "ridiculously exciting".

It is currently unclear what Morey's pregnancy will mean for her character Sonya and whether 'Neighbours' bosses will write it in.

On the show, Sonya gave birth to her and husband Toadie's baby last year.
