Explosion targets NATO forces in Kabul: officials

A bomb blast targeted NATO forces in Kabul today, a spokesman for the coalition said as the Taliban step up attacks as part of their annual summer offensive.

Najib Danish, the deputy spokesman for the Interior Ministry told AFP the explosion in the southeastern part of the Afghan capital may have been a suicide attack.

No details were immediately available on casualties.
