Explosives seized in Rohtas

A huge quantity of explosives, suspected for Naxal activities, was seized from a godown at Basa in Rohtas district today.

Superintendent of Police Manavjit Singh Dhillon said that the explosives included three bags of ammonium nitrate, ammonium phosphate, gelatin rods and 6000 detonators.

One person was arrested in this connection and his interrogation is on to ascertain its link with the Naxals, the SP said.

A truck and a tractor, believed to have been used for transportation of the explosives, were seized from near the godown, the SP said.
