Factory re-opens in Howrah

A plant, employing 700

workers, reopened today at Fuleswar in Uluberia area of Howrah district.

The factory had been under lock and key for several months due to some disputes with the workers.

INTTUC sources said the factory Usha Corporation ltd was re-opened after local MLA Pulak Roy held talks with the management and unions to break the impasse.

Company sources confirmed the re-opening.
