Farmer hacked to death

: A farmer was found hacked to death near his house at Athimarapattu diversion near Muthiapuram in this district today.

Police said Gopal (55) had a quarrel with a group of perons during the local temple festival over sacrificing goats to propiate the diety.

They said investigations are on to ascertain if these persons were behind the murder.
