A fire today broke out at a
private godown of carton near Kapilmuni Temple at Bansdroni area in the southern outskirt of the city.
Fire Brigade and police officials said seven fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control in about two hours.
No casualty or injury was reported.
The cause of the fire or the extent of damage were yet to be ascertained, the officials said.
