Fire at plywood factory

A massive fire broke out at a plywood manufacturing unit at Dina Nagar here on Thursday night.

However, there was no report of human loss or injury in the fire, police said today.

Several fire tenders were called in from adjoining places including Pathankot and Batala to put out the flames.

Fire fighters could manage to control the inferno on Friday afternoon, they said.

Exact cause of the fire was not known yet, officials said, adding that huge plywood materials were gutted.
