Fire broke out today at a government women hospital here due to to short circuit in an air-conditioner, fire officials said.
The incident took place at around 10.00 am, following which one fire tender was rushed in. It took more than half an hour to douse the flames, they said.
Financial losses will be assessed later. It was a small incident of fire, no casualty was reported in the incident, Chief Fire Officer V K Singh said.

A fire tender reached the hospital and doused the flames, he said.
