Fire in state-run hospital, no casualty

A fire broke out in an empty seminar hall of state-run National Medical College here tonight.

Fire brigaade sources said the flames were spotted at the seminar hall of Neuro-medicibe department at around 9 30 pm

Two fire tenders put off the flames within an hour's time.

There was no casualty.

The fire was believed to have been started from stockpiled materials dumped inside the sprawling hall.

The extent of damage was being ascertained.
