Five held for killing

The city police today arrested five persons in connection with a killing.

Pucha Santhosh Kumar (29), a boxer, was stabbed to death at KRM Colony here on October 1.

The arrested men were identified as N Sekhar (25), S Venkatesh (25), A Durga Rao (27), R Ashok Reddy (27) and A Kanaka Raju (32).

DCP Dr K Fakirappa said that on September 30, Santhosh's uncle Mani had a spat with Sekhar. Santosh then went to Sekhar's house and warned him.

Next day, Sekhar and others attacked Santosh with sharp-edged weapons, killing him, the DCP said.
