Five workers of Naval armament Depot (NAD) were injured in a fire accident here.
The accident occurred when the workers were carrying out the routine disposal of expired ammunition yesterday, a navy release said today.
The personnel suffered minor burn injuries and were rushed to Seven Hills Hospital in the city for treatment.
After administering first aid in NAD Dispensary, one of them has been discharged and four personnel under treatment.
The condition of one personnel is said to be critical.
An inquiry has been ordered to investigate into the incident, the release added.
