Five pilgrims die in road accident

Five persons, including a father and his two sons, who were returning after a pilgrimage at the Lord Ayyappa Temple in Sabarimala in Kerala, were killed when their car collided with a lorry here today.

The deceased have been identified as Ravi, his sons Karthikeyan, Vijayan, their relatives Naveen Kumar and Ramachandran, DSP Ravichandran said.

The lorry driver was arrested, he said.
