A major power outage at New York's LaGuardia Airport's has caused dozens of flight cancellations.
Officials say 45 flights were cancelled and five were delayed at the airport's Delta terminal after power went out at 4:30 am Friday.
Aviation authorities are reporting Delta delays of approximately 2 hours.

The outage occurred when a contractor accidentally cut two electric feeders that serve a portion of Terminal C.
Power was restored to the terminal jet bridges as of 8:30 am They're the passenger walkways that lead to the airplane from the terminal.
Flights have not resumed, but Delta expects its communication system to be back sometime shortly after 9 a.M. Generators were brought in to help resume operations.
