Foggy weather conditions prevailed in most parts of Uttar Pradesh as the state continued to reel under bitting cold wave.
Meteorological Department here said the night temperatures rose appreciably in Meerut and Varanasi divisions and changed a little in the remaining parts of the state.
Baring Bareilly division, night temperatures were recorded below normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, Jhansi, Agra and Meerut divisions.
Mercury was recorded at lowest 1.8 degrees Celsius in Churk.
The weather department predicted dry and foggy conditions at many places in the state tomorrow. Dense to very dense fog would occur at a few places.
