Four devotees were killed and seven others injured when a car collided with a tanker in Singhawali Ahir area, police said here today.
Rahul, Krishna, Anil and Poly were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with the tanker late last night, it said.
Police said the incident occurred when the 'kanwariyas' (devotees of Lord Shiva) were returning from Haridwar after collecting Ganga water to offer to Lord Shiva during Sharvan month.

The injured have been admitted to hospital, they said, adding the tanker driver managed to escape from the spot.
All the victims hailed from Sonipat district of Haryana, police said.
Traffic on the Bagpath-Meerut route was disrupted for four hours due to the accident.
