Four persons including two women were killed and five others injured when a tractor trolley they were travelling in was allegedly hit by a truck in Chhattisgarh's Balodabazar district tonight, police said.
As many as 20-22 people including the victims were on way back to their native place in Dharsinwa region in the district here when the incident took place near a dhaba on Simga-Raipur Road under Simga Police Station, a police official said.
They had gone to attend a family function in Bemetara district.

During the return journey, when the vehicle was crossing Simga area, located around 50 kms from here, a truck coming from the opposite direction crashed into its trolley leaving four people, including two women, dead on the spot, he said.
A police team was soon rushed to the spot and rescue work began, he said.
Four of the five injured were referred to a hospital in Raipur while another one was admitted to a local hospital, he said.
The identity of the victims were being ascertained, he said.
