Four-year-old girl raped by tractor driver

A four-year-old girl was raped allegedly by a tractor driver in Andhra Pradesh's Adilabad district, police said today.

The incident occurred late last night at Kamanpalli village, they said.

The driver, identified as Rajesh, sexually assaulted the girl and fled from the spot. The child has been admitted to a hospital in Mancherial and her condition is stable, police said.

The Jannaram police has booked a case of rape and further investigations are on.
