Ganja seized, woman arrested

Huge quantities of ganja have been seized and a woman was arrested in Assam's Jorhat district today, police said.

A joint team of police and CRPF personnel during routine search of vehicles seized ganja worth nearly Rs three lakh from a woman travelling in a bus at Jorhat bypass on NH 37.

The bus was on its way from Sibsagar to Jorhat and the contraband was kept in polythene packets inside a bag belonging to a woman.
