Girl killed as lightning strikes

A nine-year-old girl was killed and five others, including two children, were injured in separate incidents of lightning in the district.

Khushboo, who was yesterday playing with two other children in Vijaydeeh village, was killed as lightning struck her, police said.

In a similar incident, three persons were injured when lightning struck them in Mirzapur village here, police said, adding the injured have been admitted to different hospitals.
