Gold worth Rs 3.43 crore seized

Gold worth Rs 3.43 crore with foreign markings was seized today by Directorate of Customs Intelligence officials at the port.

The yellow metal was in a consignment that had arrived from Kuala Lumpur.

The 15-kg gold was valued at Rs 3.43 crore, port sources told PTI here, adding, the consignment was checked following a tip-off.
