Gunmen shoot dead youth in Bihar

Three motorcycle-borne gunmen today shot dead a youth and injured another at Paspura village in Bihar's Begusarai district, police said.

Mufassil police station SHO Sanjay Kumar Jha said the deceased has been identified as Roshan Kumar (24), while Kumod Kumar (18) received bullet injuries.

Roshan Kumar died en route to the hospital, and the injured youth is being treated at a nearby private hospital, he said.

The incident could be the fallout of a gang war as several cases were pending against Roshan Kumar in different police stations of the district, the police official said.

The body has been sent to sadar hospital for post-mortem, he added.
