Quiet conditions developed at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today following lack of buying support amid sufficient stocks.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also stuck at their previous levels in thin trade.
Marketmen said arrivals and offtake almost matched, helping prices to close at yesterday's levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,700-3,800, pedi Rs 4,100-4,200, dhayya Rs 4,200-4,300 and shakkar Rs 4,200-4,300.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,700-2,750, chakku Rs 3,300- 3,400, khurpa Rs N.Q. and Ladoo Rs N.Q.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,700-3800 and dhayya Rs 3,850- 3,900.
