Gurung may visit Delhi tomorrow

Gorkha Janmukti Morcha president Bimal Gurung is likely to visit Delhi tomorrow and may meet Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi to discuss the statehood issue, Morcha sources said here today.

The sources said that GJM leaders today held a 'secret' meeting, chaired by Gurung, to chalk out its next steps in attaining statehood.

They said that the six-member GJM team, camping in Delhi for the last few days, held a meeting with Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram today.

The team includes Morcha general secretary Roshan Giri and prominent leaders like Harkabahadur Chhetri.
