The Lahore district government's website was defaced by hackers who posted a message along with an audio song paying tribute to Indian Army.

The cyber attack came a day after Pakistani hackers defaced India's elite National Security Guard's website and left anti-India messages.

The hackers, who called themselves 'IND 3MB3R', hacked the website in response to the Pakistani hackers' such activities.

"Pakistani kids keep a distance from the Indian server. It is a payback for hacking Indian site. Hindustan Zindabad," said the message posted by hackers on the website.

In October, the Pakistani hackers had made Indian pilots listen to the famous Pakistani song, Dil Dil Pakistan.

In response, the alleged Indian hackers hacked the websites of Pakistani airports - Islamabad, Peshawar, Karachi and Multan.

Last month, the website of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Right to Information Commission was attacked allegedly by hackers.
