SCCI demands Export Promotion Council office in Jharkhand

Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) today demanded the Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das open an Export Promotion Council Office in Jharkhand.

The Patna Export Promotion Council office is currently looking after the affairs of the companies operating in Jharkhand.

In a letter forwarded to the Chief Minister, Vice-President (PRW) of SCCI, Vijay Anand Moonka said that the industrialists of Jharkhand now had to report at Patna office of Export Promotion Council, and this was time consuming and expensive.

A number of industries are situated in Jharkhand and of late they are exporting their products to various foreign countries including Middle-East, he said adding that the industrialists require constant guidance from Export Promotion Council Office.
