A senior Haryana police officer today allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance, police said.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Dhara Singh, a resident of Patthi village in Hisar district, allegedly committed suicide by consuming Sulphur tablets which were recovered from near him, they said.
In his suicide note, the deceased blamed three colleagues - Jind police line officer Rajpal, Sub inspector Atar Singh, ASI Madan and Roadways officer Dalbir Singh, Traffic manager R S Sandhu and seven others for him taking the extreme step.
Investigations are on into the matter, police said.
