Thirty people have qualified in this year's Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HPAS) examination with a woman bagging the top slot in the results declared today.
Rakhee Singh has topped the list. Vishrut Bharati and Priyanka Chandra stood second and third, respectively.
As many as 45,373 candidates had applied for the examination. Of them, 25,235 had appeared in the preliminary test held on June 7. 612 candidates qualified for the main examinations.

Only 464 candidates sat in the main test and 84 qualified for viva-voce which concluded yesterday.
Chairman of State Public Service Commission K S Tomar said, "I had introduced a new innovative system in the history of Commission, allowing option to candidates for giving interview either in Hindi or English which helped the aspirants especially from rural areas who faced a lot of problem in communicating in English.
