I am a better person post fatherhood: Elton John

Singer Elton John says he is amazed to see by how much fatherhood has changed him for the better.

The 69-year-old singer and his husband David Furnish have two sons, Zachary, six, and four-year-old Elijah - who were born to a surrogate.

John says it is "unimaginable" how much his life is different now to before he became a parent, and he couldn't be happier with the changes, reported Contactmusic.

"It's unimaginable how the children have changed my life. Years ago I couldn't imagine becoming a dad, but the kids have changed me so much as a person and for the better.
 

"I love them more and more every day and being a dad is now the most important thing in my life," he says.
