IAF chief in Chennai

Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, the

Chief of the Air Staff today visited Air Force Station at Avadi near here.

Air Commodore P Ramesh, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Avadi received him at the station helipad, an official release said.

The Chief was given a 'Guard of Honour' on his arrival before he paid homage to martyrs by laying a wreath at the war memorial in the campus, it said.

He also visited Ordnance Clothing Factory (OCF), Avadi, it added.
