IAF personnel undertake cleanliness drive

IAF personnel today carried out a cleanliness drive at their Jammu Station as part of the Union government's "Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan".

IAF personnel and their family members participated in the event with full zeal, a Defence spokesman said.

School children enrolled in the IAF school also joined the cleanliness drive, he said.

Children displayed colourful placards with messages to spread awareness about cleanliness written on them.

Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal addressed the personnel and stressed the need for clean surroundings and environment for a better and healthy life.

IAF jawans, in two teams, carried out the cleanliness drive in and outside the camp area.
