Air Vice Marshal N B Singh, AVSM, VSM (retd) today assumed charge as Director (technical) of Bharat Dynamics Limited, a Hyderabad-based Mini-ratna category-1 company under the Ministry of Defence.
Prior to this appointment, AVM Singh served as Assistant Chief of Air Staff (communication) in the Indian Air Force, according to a Defence release.
A graduate engineer in Electrical Engineering and Fellow of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (FIETE), he was commissioned in the Aeronautical Engineering (electronics) stream of the IAF in 1979.
In his 35 years of service in the IAF, he held many important appointments.
He was awarded the Ati Vishishtha Seva Medal and Vishishtha Seva Medal for his distinguished services, it was noted.
