Idols, ornaments stolen

Brass idols and ornaments have been stolen from a temple at Madhuvan Complex in Hazaribagh town, the police said today.

The thieves entered the temple cutting iron grills last night and escaped with idols of Radhakrishna and another idol along with ornaments valued several lakhs rupees, the sources said here.

When the head priest opened doors of the temple this morning, he found the idols and ornaments missing, the sources said.

The temple management lodged an FIR with the Hazaribagh sadar police station in connection with this incident.
