J-K: 1 killed; 13 students among 18 injured in road accidents

One person was killed and eighteen others, including 13 students of an Army School, were injured in separate road mishaps in Jammu region today.
A vehicle carrying students to a Army school from Barnoti to Janglote area in Kathua district, turned turtle at Kalibari area of the district around 8.25 am, police said.
In the mishap, 13 children were injured and have been taken to a hospital for treatment, they said.

One motorcyclist Amit Kumar was seriously injured when his bike skidded off a road in Rajouri district, police said, adding he was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital, where he died during medical treatment.
In another incident, five persons, including a woman, were injured when a bus and a car collided at Surankote in Poonch district today, police said adding the injured have been hospitalised.
