A man was killed while his two sons were injured after a car skidded off the road due to slippery conditions owing to fresh snowfall and fell into Nigeen lake here.
Ghulam Mohammad Joo, a resident of Brain area of Nishat, died after the car, driven by his son Abdul Gani Joo, fell into Nigeen Lake at Chowdary Bagh in the outskirts of the city last night, police said.
Gani and his brother who was also in the car were rescued and taken to a hospital.
Slippery conditions prevailed on the city roads after a fresh spell of snowfall yesterday.
