Actor Jacob Tremblay has signed a new animation film backed by Danish studio Lani Pixels.
According to Deadline, actors Christopher Lloyd, Kenan Thompson and Mel Brooks have also joined the cast of the untitled 3D film, to be directed by debutante Kim Pagel.
Pagel has also penned the script for the film, which is about two children who attempt to rescue their grandfather, Mr. Campbell, from supernatural forces that have invaded his isolated island.
The "Room" actor will provide the voice for one of the children.
Lani Pixels has been founded by Kim Pagel and Thomas Pagel. Thomas is producing the film along with Jason Mirch.
