Members of Akhil Bhartiya Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti met today ahead of their proposed agitation for reservation in Haryana from June 5 and said that their protests would be peaceful.
The group's district head Captain Bhupendra said they would deploy their volunteers in villages who would help keep the protest peaceful.
It was also decided at the meeting that protesters would organise a sit-in by the side of Jind-Narwana National Highway but would not block the road.

Meanwhile, one BSF company joined the police forces in conducting flag march in several areas of the city.
Jind SSP Wasim Akram said they are ready to deal with any eventuality arisng out of the Jats' protest.
The district administration has asked 'choupals' and 'dharamshalas' not to allow any gathering there except for marriage ceremony.
