Chief Minister Raghubar Das today hailed the decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi against corruption, black money and fake notes.
Das said the Prime Minister had said about rooting out black money and today's decision would be a big step towards that, an official release said.
It was necessary to take big steps to get the economy on the track, the decision would help flush out black money, he said.
