Kalpataru Net up 23.7pc at Rs 71.49 cr in July-Sept

Kalpataru Power Transmission today posted 23.7 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 71.49 crore in the July-September quarter of 2017-18 on lower costs.

The company's standalone net profit was Rs 57.81 crore in the quarter ended on September 30, 2016, Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) said in a filing today.

Its rose by 7 per cent on yearly basis to Rs 1,223 crore in the quarter.

It had an order book of Rs 9,620 crore as on September 30, 2017.

Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO of KPTL, said, "The first half at the KPTL was temporarily impacted due to the related factors. We expect to deliver on our projected growth in excess of 15 per cent for full year."

"We are also confident of achieving our order inflow targets in the range of Rs 7,500 crore to Rs 8,000 crore for the current year at KPTL," Mohnot said.
