A case was registered against a ruling TRS MLA here over an alleged land grabbing complaint, police said today.
A local resident in a complaint alleged that MLA T Prakash Goud of Rajendranagar constituency andhis supporters illegally grabbed his plot, they said.
A case underIPC sections 447 (criminal trespass), 506 (criminal intimidation) and other sections, was registered against the MLA, the Inspector said.
Goudis among the MLAs, who crossed over to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) fromTelugu Desam Party.
