A Leopard was killed allegedly by villagers in Aurangabad village in Haridwar district after he injured some people here, forest department sources said.
The Leopard came from nearby forest area in the district and attacked some of the villagers yesterday, following which they got critically injured, they said.
Upon seeing the incident, some people gathered and hit the leopard with a baton killing him on the spot yesterday, officials said.
Further investigations are on in the matter after which necessary steps would be taken, sources said.
