Naxal held, IED seized in Chhattisgarh

Security forces today apprehended a suspected Naxalite and recovered a 5 kg improvised bomb from Maoist-hit district of Bijapur in Chhattisgarh.
Officials said a patrol squad led by CRPF nabbed a wanted 'Janmilitia' section commander of Naxals, identified as Hapka Sannu, from Korma forests of the district during an operation.
Some literature and a cash of Rs 10,000 was also seized from him, they said.
Earlier in the day, troops of the paramilitary force recovered a 5 kg Improvised Explosive Device from Palnar-Gangloor area.
