An Indian man was today mauled to death by a leopard while he was sleeping outside a factory compound in western Nepal's Doti district.
Jagadish, who belonged Himanchal Pradesh's Kangra district, had been sleeping outside a compound of Rojin and Turpentine Company when the leopard attacked him in the wee hours.
The big cat devoured his right ear and right limbs, The Himalayan Times quoted Deputy Superintendent of Police in Dipayal, Bhim Bahadur Malla as saying.

The official said that the animal would have attacked Jagadish after finding him alone.
The body of the deceased was taken to the District Hospital in Silgadhi for the postmortem.
