Lightning kills couple

A couple was killed today after lightning struck them in a village in Bihar's Khagaria district, police said.

Lightning struck Vimal Mandal (48) and his wife while they were returning home with fodder for their cattle in Giribasa village, police said.

The couple died on the spot, they said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem at Khagaria Sadar hospital.
