One person was arrested and illicit liquor worth Rs 25 lakh, to be allegedly smuggled to Gujarat, was seized in Sirohi district of Rajasthan, a senior police official said today.
Following a tip off, a police party last night stopped a truck in Mandar area here and recovered 944 cartons of liquor made in Haryana and Punjab, SP Sirohi Lovely Katiyar said.
The truck driver, identified as Pankaj Rai, was arrested in this connection while the further probes are on, the SP added.
