Local BJP leader's killing: Accused's property attached

The Uttar Pradesh police has attached the property of a man, accused in the killing of a local BJP leader, at Khele village under Miranpur police station here.

The action was taken after an order was passed by a court.

The accused, Sonu, had been absconding since the murder of the leader Shobhayaman Rahe, police said.

Rahe was allegedly shot dead at Khaad village in the district on January 26.

A case was registered against four persons, including Sonu, in this connection.
