Irked by no arrest in a case of firing on a trader at Dabua Colony here four days ago, residents today held a protest and gheraoed the office of the Police Commissioner.
Locals and family members of the victim alleged that police have not taken any action against the attackers.
They were led by former state minister Pandit Shivcharan Lal Sharma.

Brother of the victim claimed Pankaj had got threatening calls after he supported Sharma in the Assembly elections.
Sharma alleged that the state of law and order situation in the state was a matter of worry.
He said if the accused were not arrested soon, he would approach Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Meanwhile, in another incident here, a women was seriously injured after she was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by two unidentified men, police said.
The victim was admitted to hospital and her condition is said to be serious, they said.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident took place last night when the victim Vimal Dharam was sitting outside her father Jagdish Chawal's residence.
Two unidentified youths came there and attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon.
