Refined soya oil prices were lower by 0.36 per cent to Rs 615.15 per 10 kg in futures market today as participants reduced holdings, triggered by muted demand in the spot market.
Also, adequate stocks on higher supplies from producing regions fuelled the downtrend.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month April fell by Rs 2.25, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 615.15 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 87,650 lots.

On similar lines, the oil for delivery in March shed Rs 2.15, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 613.05 per 10 kg in 39,210 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in refined soya oil futures to subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks on higher supplies from producing belts.
