Maharasthra government will roll out 'Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojna', a scheme on the lines of 'Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojna', to provide all-weather roads even for the smallest of villages, rural development minister Pankaja Munde today said.

Munde told PTI here that her ministry recently made a presentation to the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the proposal would be soon put before the cabinet for approval.

"The scheme would be implemented in three phases and would cover villages with as small a population as 250, which have not been covered by any scheme so far," she said.

Madhya Pradesh had such a scheme, she informed.

The minister, who is also in charge of women and child welfare, said a monitoring system was being set up for implementation of various schemes of the department.
