Police today claimed to have solved the murder case of a farmer in Mansurpur village here by booking the deceased's wife and her paramour for their alleged role in the crime.
The paramour was arrested yesterday while the woman is on the run, SP (city) Rakesh Kumar Singh said, adding efforts are on to trace the woman.
An FIR has been registered against the woman and her paramour, he said.
The farmer was found dead with his throat slit in the fields on May 14.
Police said Vikas was eliminated after he objected to his wife's affair.
