Man booked for attempted sexual assault of minor girl

A case has been registered against a 20-year-old man for allegedly trying to sexually assault a minor girl here, police said today.

The man attempted to sexually assault the girl, who stays with her aunt, on May 10, they said.

Based on a complaint, a case under POCSO Act has been booked, police said, adding that investigation was on, police added.
